Okay, so I'm not done yet

Yeah, I haven't finished my post up yet so I figured I will just go ahead and do what Deneen said and post some pictures of Avery. Like she said, it's probably the real reason people come by my blog,,, not to hear me wax philosophical about the ways of the world. Nope, you all just want to see pictures of my growing girl. So,,, here are some newer photos.

Just hanging out with Daddy at the park

Here's Avery teaching Daddy everything about electronics!

Something was very "oooohhhh!" worthy!

I love that last one- she is so cute!

Those blue eyes! I'll bet she loves being daddy's right-hand girl!

what a cutie-pie!

By the way I responded to your comment on Susannah's blog! And thanks for the Colbie Caillat tip - just on your say so and without hearing it at all, I bought it for my sister's birthday. It's great and she loves it!

Lins - I'm so happy your sister liked the CD! It's just a nice CD to relax and listen to. It's also one I really enjoy in my car,,, where I can sing along as loud as I want!

What I'm Reading

  • Dr. Seuss: Horton Hears a Who
Because I'm a mommy and who am I to deprive her of Dr. Seuss.
  • John Grisham: The Innocent Man
A true story about a man convicted of a crime he didn't commit. Gripping and terrifying.
  • Khaled Hosseini: The Kite Runner
I've already read A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author but have not read the Kite Runner. I've heard it is even more amazing than Splendid Suns so I am looking forward to beginning it.

What I'm Listening To

  • Colbie Caillat -

    Colbie Caillat: Coco
I just purchased this CD after it was reviewed on a local radio station the other day. Easily, one of the best CDs I have purchased in a long time.
