I've already read A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author but have not read the Kite Runner. I've heard it is even more amazing than Splendid Suns so I am looking forward to beginning it.

I'm with you! I hate snow. My store has closed early 3 days this winter. They never close early. Somewhere in the tropics sounds good to me.

We've only had a tiny bit where we are. It snowed on 1st Feb, then the next day was my neice's wedding . The snow hadn't melted so the ground was white but the sky was blue and cloudless and very sunny. Gorgeous. Glad to see you're back with us. I hope the sickness stays away!
