We've only just begun

Rob and I celebrated our four year anniversary on Saturday and it was much like our wedding day - I was sick. But after not being able to enjoy a nice Valentine's Day dinner with the hubby due to insane nausea, I wasn't going to let a little thing like a hacking cough keep me from a date with the hubby. Rob treated me to a romantic dinner and it was definitely a much needed evening off from being 'mommy.' And just to remind us of our aging, here are a couple 'then and now' pictures. Oh, and yes, I'm completely aware that I'm in severe need of a tan. It's been a looooong winter people!

And just for fun, here is what Avery think's about us being her parents. You can see she's just thrilled!

Lovely wedding pic - where were you??? And four years? You're still honeymooning!

So I totally commented here a few days ago. Where is it?? Did you delete me? Whatever!
Anyway, I love the pics! AND I love little miss DRAMATIC! I think she is going to be an actress when she grows up.

Lins - We were married in Maui. Beautiful! And yes, we're still probably technically in the honeymoon stage,,, but Rob probably feels like we'be been married 40 years rather than just four!

Lisa - I didn't delete you. I think you just IMAGINED posting. I would never delete you,,, unless you were really mean. And you wouldn't be mean... right?

Love love love the haircut Jen!!!! What an adoreable picture of you guys!!! So so stinking cute! Love it. It must suck to be that photogenic, huh? Ok and I'm a total dork... your friend said "Where were you???" and I thought that meant like in the picture where were you.... thank goodness you answered and I was able to realize where I went wrong! OH and btw Alec still gives us THAT look. We're just not brave enough to photograph it.

You look fantastic Jenny!! Say hi to your sister for me!!

What I'm Reading

  • Dr. Seuss: Horton Hears a Who
Because I'm a mommy and who am I to deprive her of Dr. Seuss.
  • John Grisham: The Innocent Man
A true story about a man convicted of a crime he didn't commit. Gripping and terrifying.
  • Khaled Hosseini: The Kite Runner
I've already read A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author but have not read the Kite Runner. I've heard it is even more amazing than Splendid Suns so I am looking forward to beginning it.

What I'm Listening To

  • Colbie Caillat -

    Colbie Caillat: Coco
I just purchased this CD after it was reviewed on a local radio station the other day. Easily, one of the best CDs I have purchased in a long time.
