He knows me better than I know myself

Rob - You always run to turn off The Brady Bunch when it comes on after Curious George.

Jen - I can't stand The Brady Bunch, I don't know why it was so popular.

R - Um, Jen, you ARE the Brady Bunch!

J - NO I'M NOT! I'm a badass.

R - You're not a badass Jen, you're a goodie-goodie, accept it.

J - But I want to be a badass, does that count for anything?

R - No.

First of all, I heart the Brady Bunch! Second of all, Clifford comes on after Curious George at my house. You must not be watching it at 7 am. Lazy ass. (close to badass, but... different).

Uhhh, we watch the 7am showing, but the 5pm showing is also especially handy to allow me time to make dinner! We are Curious George junkies around these parts... CG also comes on at 8am and 3pm. Very good to know if I need George to babysit for half an hour.

Ahhhh, thanks for the info.

We get Clifford after Curious George... but by some miracle of cable, we now get Noggin in my bedroom. Noggin is the most blessed of all stations.

And yes, sadly, you are a good two shoes. Otherwise you wouldn't have made PRIDE. Ha ha!

What I'm Reading

  • Dr. Seuss: Horton Hears a Who
Because I'm a mommy and who am I to deprive her of Dr. Seuss.
  • John Grisham: The Innocent Man
A true story about a man convicted of a crime he didn't commit. Gripping and terrifying.
  • Khaled Hosseini: The Kite Runner
I've already read A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author but have not read the Kite Runner. I've heard it is even more amazing than Splendid Suns so I am looking forward to beginning it.

What I'm Listening To

  • Colbie Caillat -

    Colbie Caillat: Coco
I just purchased this CD after it was reviewed on a local radio station the other day. Easily, one of the best CDs I have purchased in a long time.
