... When No One Else is Watching

Another Year Over

I was going to show you all the aftermath of having a birthday party with fifteen three year olds in our house but decided that reliving it would traumatize me too much so instead, here are a couple of pictures of my girl. Then and Now.

   

In all seriousness though, the party was fantastic and I would have no other type of aftermath to clean up than the one from fifteen three year olds and their parents enjoying themselves. Avery is so blessed to have amazing little friends and I am also ridiculously grateful for having their parents in my life. I never could have imagined knowing such great women to share in the joys and frustration of raising children. I don't think anyone is luckier than I am to have such amazing friends!

Body Woes

As I pass the bathroom mirror last night I have one thought. What in the world is going on with my ass?! And no, I can't say butt because it doesn't give it justice. I haven't gained any weight but I think my body has redistributed my weight so that the majority of it has fallen to my backside. So not good.

I'm not going to say I'll now be good and avoid all the yumminess this season provides but I will say that come January 2nd a serious overhaul will be happening. I just don't get it, how can a butt get bigger when no weight has been gained and I'm running virtually every day? Grrrr, frustration.

Believe Me, I Know

I know, I know. I haven't blogged in a while and this time there really is an excuse. Our main computer is on the fritz and is the one where I have all my pictures that are downloaded and I have a hard time typing a post without posting pictures. Our computer is supposed to be fixed tomorrow and I'll come back with something really good. I promise.
